Workplace recognition is a crucial factor in maintaining employee well-being, motivation, and engagement. It plays a strategic role in enhancing the overall performance of the organization and helps foster a positive corporate culture.

In 2024, we implemented a program that provides a structured framework for all employee recognition initiatives. As part of this effort, we launched Employee Recognition Week to highlight the engagement and contributions of every team member. This event also serves as an opportunity to express our appreciation for the teams’ hard work and dedication.

Each day of Employee Recognition Week features a different activity. The main challenge in organizing this event lies in designing activities that do not disrupt ongoing operations. Since our operational activities are primarily concentrated during the winter and some of our seasonal employees leave the company in the summer, it is essential to hold this event during the deicing season. We prioritize simple and online activities to enable participation from all stations.

This event promotes recognition at every level and emphasizes the importance of highlighting collective achievements, thereby helping foster a culture of recognition within the company. The recognition program establishes a common foundation, applied consistently across stations in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, while encouraging local management to add a personal touch if desired.

The second edition of Employee Recognition Week was once again a success this year, highlighting the importance and relevance of these initiatives for our teams. We will continue our efforts to innovate in employee recognition, with the goal of strengthening employees’ sense of belonging and overall well-being at Aeromag.
