The Portraits of Changemakers series highlights the inspiring individuals at Aeromag who, every day, actively contribute to change through their commitment and vision. Among them, Manon Lacroix, Chief Financial Officer at our headquarters in Montreal (YUL), Quebec.
Manon joined the Aeromag team nearly a year ago. She is primarily responsible for the Finance Department and all the group’s financial activities. Passionate about the aviation sector, she particularly appreciates the complexity of deicing operations and the uniqueness of each station.

Break Down Barriers and Inspire the Next Generation
Although significant progress has been made over the years, the aviation and finance sectors remain predominantly male, particularly in leadership roles. “I am extremely proud of my career path, but I dream of the day when gender or difference is no longer something worth mentioning, but simply one form of richness among many,” says Manon. She hopes to serve as a role model for young women, encouraging them to believe in their ambitions and potential and to pursue leadership positions despite the obstacles. She also says she was fortunate early in her career to be surrounded by excellent mentors who believed in her abilities and helped her reach where she is today.
75% of management positions on Aeromag’s finance team are held by women. This representation reflects a corporate culture that values equity, career progression, and diverse career paths.
