Aeromag is a private-held company specializing in aircraft deicing, management of deicing centres as well as the recovery and recycling of deicing fluids. Established in numerous airports in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, Aeromag is recognized for its environmental innovations. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Director (Canada, USA, UK) based in Montreal, Québec. This key role involves talent acquisition and management, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, HR policy compliance, HR analytics and reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement, and talent retention.
  • Lead global talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategies, employer branding in collaboration with marketing, and diversity initiatives.
  • Develop and implement talent management programs, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Foster a continuous learning and development culture to enhance employee skills and capabilities worldwide.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Ensure all stations and locations comply with labour laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, inclusivity, and a positive work environment globally.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with local market practices.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to optimize compensation structures and reward programs.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with compensation regulations and tax implications.
  • Assess needs, build a business case and implement HRIS systems, tools, and dashboards to streamline HR processes and enhance employee experience.
  • Generate insights and reports on key HR metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and support strategic HR initiatives. This includes sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CHRA or SHRM certification is required for this role.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements in Canada, the USA and the UK.
  • Proven track record of driving HR initiatives contributing to organizational growth and success.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
  • Bilingual in French/English (spoken and written).
