Operations Manager

- Ensure the management of operations related to de-icing, snow removal and maintenance ;
- Ensure enforcement of the corporate policies (code of conduct, attendance policy, uniform policy, etc.) ;
- Appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems and staff performance evaluations and disciplinary measures (Control Tower employees, Operation Supervisors and Technicians) ;
- Follow up on the training and qualifications for the CTM’s, Operation Supervisors and technicians in collaboration with the Head Trainer ;
- Ensure that the standards and procedures related to operations, security, environment and maintenance of installations and equipment are adhered to ;
- Responsible for offering and maintaining a safe work environment, following up on safety policies and standards, managing accidents and incidents, and including on-site investigations as necessary ;
- Responsible for weekly or monthly meetings with the General Manager, Operation Supervisors, Airline Management Personnel, H&S committee, etc. ;
- Collaborates in training-theoretical and applied (initial and recurrent), as required ;
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience ;
- Must possess a valid driver’s license ;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook) essential ;
- Drug screening test and Airport security background check ;
- Team player and high-level organization ;
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and follow procedures, while holding health and safety in very high regard.
