Payroll Supervisor

We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join our team. This position reports to the Director, Finance and Accounting. In this key role, the Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for managing the full payroll cycle for the company and its subsidiaries across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Type: Hybrid
- Responsible for leading the small payroll team, including delegating, reviewing work, training, and coaching.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing and updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Process biweekly payroll for salaried and hourly seasonal employees across 19 locations.
- Calculate and maintain various time banks (vacation, sick leave, overtime) to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and best practices.
- Participate in the monthly and annual closing of the accounting cycle regarding payroll (journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger accounts).
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Participate in special projects, including the implementation and updating of payroll-related systems.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Payroll Master
- Accredited as a qualified practitioner in the administration and processing of full payroll cycles in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom
- Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-improvement mindset
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to confidentiality
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Bilingual (French & English), both spoken and written
