Seasonal Deicing Technician

As a Seasonal Deicing Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and on-time departures of aircraft during winter conditions. Our technicians choose their shifts based on availability, making this role ideal for students, retirees, or anyone with a variable schedule.
- Safely operate deicing trucks and equipment near aircraft under winter conditions.
- Apply aircraft anti-icing/deicing fluids in accordance with procedures and safety protocols.
- Communicate with the ground crew, flight crew, and dispatchers.
- Follow airport regulations, security procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Complete required logs and reports after each operation.
- Applicants must possess and maintain a valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Able to pass security clearance for airport operations (RAIC, SIDA or equivalent).
- Prior experience in aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset.
