Aircraft deicing truck mechanic
Aeromag Montréal is looking for a mechanic for its facility near Dorval International Airport. A unique opportunity to develop a different kind of expertise!
- Ensure the smooth operation of the de-icing and service truck fleet.
- Carry out repairs on de-icing and service trucks.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of de-icing and service trucks.
- Ensure trucks are clean and in good working order.
- Maintain all vehicles related to company operations.
- Follow procedures and instructions.
- Promptly report any anomalies or other problems to the Mechanical Manager.
- Complete any documents or reports required for follow-up and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of French and English.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Must enjoy working in a team and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Conscientious of health and safety at work.
- Candidates must have their own tools.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of mechanical experience.
- Experience with heavy machinery, and/or electronic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Completion and passing of a course in general mechanics, heavy vehicles, or site engines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license.
*Candidates must be able to obtain their RAIC (Reserved Area Access Card) and AVOP (Airport Driving Permit).
