Assistant Trainer

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Trainer based at our DEN (Denver station). An Assistant Trainer is a key person supporting the Head Trainer for all the operational functions of the station. They are responsible for assisting in training all staff, including Technicians, Bay Leads, and OCC Personnel. While also maintaining documentation and quality assurance to ensure the station is compliant with our airline customers and regulators.
Training:
- Assist in the preparation of the training – theoretical and practical (initial and recurrent).
- Ensure the application of United and Aeromag procedures, industry standards and airline specifics.
- Ensure that various employee files, training, and external audits are kept up to date.
- Supervise the training team ensuring good intra-team communication, and that standards are kept across shifts.
- Provide feedback and update the training manuals and company procedures.
- Submit reports on the progress of training and internal audits, as applicable, to the General Manager and the Operations Managers.
- Participate in external audits conducted by third parties.
- Participate in various external forums and activities, such as “Train the Trainer” courses, various committees, etc.
- Participate in various special projects that have (or could have) an impact on Aeromag’s training program.
Operations:
- Ensure regular monitoring of the quality and proper operation of deicing operations, as well as the application of procedures through field audits.
- Participate in deicing operations on a regular basis, as agreed with the immediate Head Trainer / Operation Manager.
- Take part in employee briefings and information sessions.
- Participate in meetings with the Operations Manager(s).
- Maintain good interpersonal relationships with employees and customers.
- Be actively involved in the annual employee evaluations (Technician and Bay Lead).
- Aptitude in all Office 365 products, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Presentation / teaching skills.
- Respect for employees and colleagues.

- Professionalism, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Considers health and safety as a top priority.
- Must work flexible hours according to the needs of the operations.
- Able to pass a 5-panel drug test.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Able to pass a background check to obtain a SIDA badge.
