Aeromag’s RRR SYR Project Recognized at the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards

We are proud to announce that our new Recovery, Recycle, and Reuse (RRR) facility at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) has received the prestigious ACEC (American Council of Engineering Companies) New York Diamond 2025 Award in the Waste and Stormwater category at the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards.

The RRR SYR project, which focuses on the innovative recycling of spent deicing fluid, has been recognized for its cutting-edge approach to sustainability and environmental responsibility. This facility plays a critical role in reducing waste, conserving resources, and protecting local water systems by efficiently reclaiming deicing fluid used during winter operations.

Judges of the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards commended the project for its ingenuity and impact, highlighting its role in advancing green practices within the aviation industry. The award underscores our commitment to environmental stewardship and to leading the way in sustainable infrastructure solutions.
