Aeromag believe it is essential to make a positive contribution to society by supporting social causes and by participating in charitable events. Our commitment to social responsibility is based on several principles, including ethics, the environment and the community.
For the third year running, we took part in the 48-HOUR RIDE event in Mirabel (Quebec) to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which makes wishes come true for children with serious illnesses. From September 20 to 22, 2024, two (2) Aeromag teams, made up of six (6) participants, pedalled for 48 hours to raise funds.
We would like to thank CHEMCO, our main sponsor for the 2024 edition. A business partner for over seven (7) years, CHEMCO is the primary supplier of deicing fluids (Type I) and anti-icing fluids (Type IV) for the YMX station, as well as the supplier of unique additive concentrates that allow recycled glycol to be transformed into Type I deicing fluids for the YUL station, thus offering the industry an environmental solution. As part of the launch of the CHEMR Nordik IV anti-icing product, Aeromag acted as a partner by facilitating the creation of a promotional video at YUL.
The mission of the CHEMR deicing products division is to provide the aviation industry with the best formulations of deicing and anti-icing products for aircraft that are both long-lasting and environmentally friendly. One of their flagship products is CHEMR Nordik IV, an anti-icing product that meets AMS 1428 standards. CHEMR Nordik IV matches or exceeds the performance of most Type IV products currently available on the market. With excellent holdover times in various conditions and an application temperature of -29°C (LOUT), CHEMR Nordik IV is perfectly suited for the Canadian market.
This collaboration demonstrates CHEMCO’s interest in partnering with another Quebec-based company capable of implementing environmental and innovative solutions, tailored to today’s market. Such partnerships are often crucial in the process of obtaining certifications, especially for products subjected to extreme weather conditions, such as anti-icing solutions.
